DU Player — Support

A video player for your own media

DU Player is a media player. It plays the video playlists and streams that you provide by signing in to your own media server — it does not host, sell, or supply any content of its own.

Getting started

Sign in: on the login screen enter your media server address and your login, or choose Login with Code and confirm from a phone that's already signed in.
Once signed in, your movies, series, and live streams appear and are ready to play.

Common questions

Playback starts on a black screen for a few seconds. The player buffers the first part of the stream; it begins shortly. On a slow connection try the SD/quality control.
Resume where I left off. Open a title from the Continue Watching row to pick up where you stopped.
Subtitles / audio track. Use the controls shown while a video is playing to switch the subtitle or audio track.
Aspect / fit. The player defaults to Fit Screen; use the aspect control to change it.
Nothing plays. Confirm your server address and login are correct and that your media server is online.
